The man with the shaved head and beard was an undercover agent in the employ of the Joint Terrorism Task Force. This has been public knowledge for at least four years, as persons who were involved in assaulting this individual and his accomplice were immediately arrested for “assaulting a police officer” and court documents from their respective trials state as much.
The purpose of agent provocateurs in rallies and counterprotests are twofold— to gather intelligence on and infiltrate the target group*and* whatever opposition mobilizes to oppose it. In this case, this man was accompanied by another undercover agent who were dressed up in nazi-esque attire, away from all of the actual members of the national socialist movement who showed up that day. The purpose of these undercover agents was not to gain intelligence about the NSM, but to draw out ARA/Antifa and arrest *them*.
Even though the JTTF is nominally described as an agency that synergises local, state and federal law enforcement into a robust mechanism against “terrorism,” it’s primarily been used by local-level cops with Napoleon complexes to cross jursidictional boundaries in order to harass left-leaning activist types. The irony of this “interagency friendship and cooperation” organization that stomps on the toes of any department that gets in its way manifests itself when certain jurisdictions are so tired of the JTTF stirring shit up that they actively work against it.
lol.
